Student Support Program

The Student Support Program is seeking a full-time instructional technician with a growth mindset to work with high school students in grades 9-12 and implement restorative methods and practices with all students. The teaching assignment will include using APEX for grades 9-12 and supporting students in the curricular areas of English, math, science, and social studies. The candidate should have the ability to build strong relationships with students, have effective communication skills, be committed to supporting students both behaviorally and academically, and be flexible in an ever-changing environment.

The Student Support Program is part of the Student Services department and it is an opportunity for students in both middle and high school to continue their academic progress during long-term suspensions, expulsions, or times of transition in a smaller, more structured environment. While not a specified program for behavior, some students do exhibit challenging behavior. However, through a structured, predictable, and safe environment, our students are able to find a great deal of success which will give them the opportunity to be able to return to a traditional school setting and make more positive choices.

Hourly Pay Rate $19.79
