Alexa is the Amazon cloud service that powers Echo: the world’s best AI-powered digital personal assistant. We're seeking an experienced Sr Technical Program Manager to lead key Monetization initiatives for Amazon Alexa. This is an exciting opportunity to transform and shape the business while building delightful experiences on Alexa

In this role you will be responsible for scoping and delivering large projects end-to-end. Responsibilities include collection of business requirements, translating requirements to specs, driving project schedules from design to release, and managing production launches. You will lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts between teams to develop optimal solutions. You will be expected to make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams.

We are a product and engineering team building products and underlying services to enable monetization experiences on Alexa. Experience in the following domains is preferred: e-commerce, online advertising, search, AI powered personal assistants, and related areas.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering
- 3+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
