OnePoint Human Capital Management specializes in providing enterprise-level human capital management software-as-a-service solutions tailored to mid-size employers. Currently, we are actively seeking an accomplished Payroll and Human Capital Management (HCM) Implementations Specialist to support our clients in maximizing the potential of our cloud-based platform for various HR functions including benefit enrollment, leave management, and payroll administration.

As part of our collaborative Payroll and Human Capital Management teams, our Implementation Specialists play a pivotal role in project management and client support across our Payroll and HCM modules. This encompasses a range of tasks such as configuring General HRIS, overseeing Benefits Administration, managing Recruitment processes, handling Affordable Care Act Reporting, conducting Performance Reviews, managing Incidents and Workers Claims, setting up Custom Workflows, configuring Payroll Codes, overseeing Notifications, and facilitating the transition to paperless documents.

In our integrated Payroll/HCM department, Implementation Specialists operate within a cohesive team environment, supporting one another with various responsibilities including data entry, setup, and testing. Effective communication with sales personnel and management regarding the progress of new client implementations is essential to maintaining the high standard of customer service that OnePoint is renowned for. The ability to collaborate and communicate efficiently within project management teams is fundamental to our operational success.

The key responsibilities of our HCM Implementation Specialists include overseeing all facets of client implementation on OnePoint's software platforms. This entails managing each implementation as a project, coordinating resources both externally with the client and internally within our organization, and ensuring adherence to project deadlines. Additionally, responsibilities include data conversion from competing software platforms, conducting training and implementation sessions for new and existing clients, performing balancing and quality control audits to uphold data accuracy, and facilitating a seamless transition to the OnePoint HCM client services department.

The Payroll & Human Capital Management Implementations role encompasses a diverse set of responsibilities:

  • Implementing new customers onto the OnePoint HCM software.
  • Configuring the application to meet the customers specific needs and seamlessly transferring relevant employer and employee data onto OnePoint's software systems.
  • Manage multiple implementation projects, adhering to transition schedules and meeting deadlines promptly.
  • Conducting customer meetings and  training sessions in a one to one or one to many setting.  (Travel to a customers onsite location may be required)
  • Complete discovery processes to assess configuration needs for each client.
  • Facilitate weekly project team review calls with clients and maintain daily contact to obtain payroll data and set schedules.
  • Ensure accurate processing of payroll-related data to meet appointment schedules and maintain a high rate of client retention through quality service.

  • Maintain client files and resolve client/system problems, fostering positive relationships with clients, agencies, and coworkers.
  • Participate in conducting training sessions, possibly requiring travel to client sites, and perform other assigned duties.
  • Communicate issues and resolutions promptly to clients, accurately track task action items in the online HCM system, and prioritize tasks autonomously.
  • Understand basic networking and desktop support concepts, multitask effectively, and maintain a high level of quality work.
  • Support requests received via phone, email, CRM, or internal requests, and log trouble tickets into the company's web-based CRM system.
  • Stay updated on payroll processing systems and changes in wage and tax laws, corresponding with tax agencies on behalf of clients.
  • Work with Customer Service to familiarize them with new clients before assigning them to a permanent CSR.
  • Develop and maintain a client training program via electronic documents, webinars, and recorded sessions.
  • Utilize light Salesforce administration and support miscellaneous IT duties.
  • Provide tier 2 support for HCM system issues, including but not limited to payroll, HR, Time Labor Management modules.

 

 

Education, experience and skills:

 


Associate’s degree (AA) or accreditation preferred.

Two to five years experience in similar positions.

Knowledge of database software, human resource systems, payroll systems, spreadsheet software and Word processing software.

Experience in Human Resources or Software Support role for a sizable organization or software provider.

A demonstration of strong customer relationship skills.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Experience working with a CRM or project management system.

Knowledge of ACA and Benefits administration.

Solid understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws.

Proven facility in MS Office, data entry and office equipment (i.e. telephone, head set, 10-key or calculator and PC).

Proven facility in customer service, and problem resolution.

Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.

Predictable and consistent work attendance.
