Health Facility Operations Project Manager

The Health Facility Operations Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operational management within healthcare facilities. This includes planning, organizing, and directing the day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services. They manage projects related to facility improvements, renovations, and expansions, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards while optimizing resources and budgets. They collaborate with various stakeholders, including medical staff, administrators, and external contractors, to meet organizational goals and enhance patient care. Additionally, they may develop and implement strategies to improve operational processes, streamline workflows, and enhance the overall performance of healthcare facilities.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Health Facility Operations Project Manager : $-K Pay commensurate with experience. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, K and other possible benefits as provided.  Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Health Facility Operations Project Manager Responsibilities Include: 

Provide comprehensive support services, including project management, integration support, planning and design reviews, coordination of requirements, submittal reviews, request for information coordination, data collection for reporting, scheduling meetings, and coordinating and distributing staff products. Consolidate, review, analyze, present, develop, and distribute data related to facility requirements, including contingency and enduring areas of operation, area development plans, military construction and sustainment projects, health service support activities, defense support of civil authority activities, and global health engagement activities. Participate in facility capital investment and business process forums and meetings with Army Medicine stakeholders, including regional base operations, area development plans, and stationing actions. Assist in managing Space Use, Moves, and Space Control as a building consultant for operating and staff offices, providing guidance on space management concepts and techniques. Recommend specific policies and procedures to improve the space management program for the respective MRC and Headquarters, ensuring alignment with higher-level command requirements. Conduct special studies to address specific space problems and investigate technical situations, devising plans to adjust the needs of the respective MRC and Headquarters to ensure maximum space utilization and promote efficient operations. Provide consultation and advise to HFPA/G leaders Contribute to the development of annual and long-range work plans reflecting projects and recurring annual requirements in terms of equipment and supplies for the seven-year Program Objective Memorandum (POM) period for the respective MRC, Headquarters, and assist subordinate units as required. Attend quarterly Real Property Planning Board meetings and other associated meetings as required with local DPW Coordinate with the Facility Operations Specialist and Health Facility Planner to develop Courses of Action (COA) for future projects including adding new requirements to the Facility Investment Plan (FIP) and DHA Facility Enterprise’s Capital Investment Decision Model (CIDM). Assist in integrating the associated MRC, Headquarters, subordinate units, and Army Health Facility Planning Agency (HFPA) requirements with the installation facility master plan to initiate long-term Military Construction (MILCON) projects to support Medical Readiness Command, East priorities. Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Health Facility Operations Project Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: 

Bachelor’s degree; or at least, or more years of experience with health facility planning support or facility management. Proficient in the use of real property systems ( DMLSS, RPLANS, BUILDER, etc.). Supports DHA Healthcare Delivery, Army Readiness missions, ASCC and Combatant Command missions, and Army Sustained Facilities (IMCOM). Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint, and Microsoft Project and TEAMS products. Requires knowledge and application of processes, policies, methods and procedures affecting Military health facility construction, outfitting, and transition. Proficient in communicating plans, ideas and instructions effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to organize and plan specific events in a logical manner and the skill to present such plans in a variety of automated formats. Past applicable job experience may include, but is not limited to: Healthcare operations management, Project Management in Healthcare, or Facility Management.  Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
