Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Project & Compliance Manager to oversee and manage technical projects. Prepares project execution plan and identifies technical and business resources needed. Assesses issues and develops solutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Leads strategic projects and maintain compliance to all applicable cybersecurity standards. The candidate should be a self-starter, strong understanding of compliance requirements, technical leadership experience and excellent communication skills.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Establishes cyber compliant enterprise solutions for databases within a large organization with adherence to DoD standards such as NIST RMF, 800-53, , CMMC and ITAR.
  • Establishes compliance operational strategies by evaluating trends, establishing critical measurements, accumulating resources, resolving problems, and implementing change.
  • Work with application and security teams to promptly address security vulnerabilities and compliance issues protecting the database, infrastructure and technology stack.
  • Champion the adoption of new technologies and promote cross-functional and cross-business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness.
  • Reduce operational cycle time and drive simplification through implementation to automation solutions
  • Partner with Application teams, shared services, core technology peers and Oracle in design, development, implementation and operational support of Oracle technology solutions including Cloud solutions.
  • Manage architecture and operations activities to ensure the compute infrastructure is used efficiently and produces a long-term business benefit.
  • Maintain and apply current knowledge of information technology; keep abreast of new and emerging technologies and help determine if they can be used to add value to the business.
  • Identify resourcing, assign individual responsibilities, and develop schedule to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of projects deliverables
  • Responsible for the coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals
  • Extensive experience in managing business and IT stakeholders and team members to design a solution and establish associated project timelines and budgets.
  • Ability to drive execution and provide direction and oversight throughout the project lifecycle to meet applicable business requirements
  • Experience ensuring that proper development and change control processes are followed
  • Experience documenting requirements, product specifications, code, and other technical project documentation
  • Intimate knowledge of project management tools and procedures
  • Excellent organizational, time management, communication, presentation, and customer relationship skills


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • PMP certification
  • Experience managing projects using Agile Methodology
  • 7+ years experience managing software projects
  • Minimum 5 years managing projects and teams


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $239140
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
