A day as a Production Supervisor in Cirtec Medical - WE1 (Friday-Sunday, 5:00am to 3:00pm)

In this role, you'll orchestrate the production processes, carefully coordinating tasks to fulfill customer requirements, hit production targets, and uphold our quality and cost standards. As a driving force of leadership and motivation, you'll guide your production team, facilitating training, and ensuring adherence to our quality system to create a smoothly operating production environment.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned :

Key areas of expertise are:

Provide leadership and direction to 40-45 Operators and 4 team leads across the associated shift ensuring proper levels of production and quality are met. Plan, organize, and schedule production activities (including personnel and equipment) to meet schedules for both standard production and development projects. Coordinate hiring and training of new employees along with recording the status of the training Preemptively coordinate material and system requirements to ensure minimum amount of downtime and recommend measures to improve production methods, yields, and the quality of product Participate on and lead teams that improve safety, quality, and reliability in the production area, as well as teams that support cost saving and team building initiatives (QDC). Manage production personnel, including planning personnel needs, participating in the hiring process, and managing performance.

Must Have:

Bachelor's Degree: A degree in a relevant field, such as Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Computer literate (MS Office Suite,) Able to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities. Experience in technical report writing and verbal communication skills. Several years of experience in a production or manufacturing setting. Ability to lead and motivate a team, manage conflict, and problem-solve under pressure is crucial.

Good to have:

Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities Certifications in areas such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Project Management Experience working in a manufacturing environment with Contract Manufacturing preferred. Prior Experience in a Supervisory Role
