We are seeking a skilled Mixer I to join our production team at Litehouse Foods. As a Mixer, you will play a critical role in the performance of all mix systems, ensuring the production of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Load ingredients into blenders and utilize pumping and metering systems to produce complex recipes, adhering to strict allergen guidelines and detailed wash requirements.
- Changeover and wash machinery between jobs, maintaining a clean work area and participating in facility and grounds housekeeping.
- Utilize data collection systems to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability, ensuring correct entries into factory software.
- Requisition supplies and maintain production records, adhering to Food Safety policies and reporting quality concerns to supervisors.
- Frequently work overtime and weekends as necessary, lifting up to 55 lbs. independently.
- High School Diploma or GED, strongly preferred.
- 0-3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to use computer-based batch automation technology.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and focused, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and establish effective working relationships with colleagues.
