Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Direct Mail Manager with experience in the credit card, banking or fintech industry to join our Marketing team at Seen Credit Card. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing direct mail strategies to drive customer acquisition for prospects and cross-sell audiences.
This position is required to be in one of our office locations, Chicago, IL or Salt Lake City, UT.
Responsibilities:
Direct Mail Strategy Development:
Develop and execute comprehensive direct mail strategies to support customer acquisition, cross-selling, and retention initiatives. Conduct market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis to identify target audiences and optimize campaign effectiveness. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop creative concepts, messaging strategies, and offer structures for direct mail campaigns.Campaign Execution and Optimization:
Oversee the end-to-end execution of direct mail campaigns, including list segmentation, creative development, production coordination, and performance tracking. Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to optimize campaign targeting, messaging, and creative elements for maximum response rates and ROI. Implement A/B testing and multivariate testing methodologies to refine campaign strategies and drive continuous improvement.Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with external vendors, including printers, mail houses, and fulfillment partners, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of direct mail campaigns. Negotiate ricing, contracts, and service agreements to optimize vendor relationships and drive efficiencies in direct mail production processes.Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies governing direct mail marketing practices. Work closely with Legal and Compliance teams to review direct mail content, disclosures, and offers to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in direct mail marketing, preferably in the card or fintech industry. 3+ years of experience executing acquisition direct mail campaigns. Experience with Lifecycle marketing campaigns will be preferred. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in marketing automation platforms and reporting tools. Strong understanding of direct marketing principles, segmentation strategies, and campaign optimization techniques. Experience with direct mail production processes, including list management, creative development, and vendor coordination. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.Why Join Us:
