Interface is hiring a VP of Manufacturing for the Americas, located in LaGrange or West Point, GA. This individual will collaborate with the Global Supply Chain functional leadership to develop and implement strategies that will deliver excellent service, enable growth, enhance profitability, and continue Interface’s founding legacy of sustainability. 

This role will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations within the United States and Canada, enabling the commercial organization to be successful by providing excellent service and quality with fit for purpose products at a competitive cost. Specifically, this role will partner with their functional peers within the global supply chain organization and across the commercial and financial organizations to drive capabilities that will address the demands of the customer, maintain world class service, increase profitability, unify operations, modernize and increase agility while leading the charge on the Company’s goal of being carbon negative by 2040. This role will be critical to the process of effectively assessing the environment and team, establishing sharp focus and business priorities, and enhancing and accelerating its data-based operating systems to drive transparency and accountability within the organization.

The VP of Manufacturing, Americas will develop and govern solid processes, policies, and strategies to achieve company growth and increase profitability from a manufacturing perspective. Specifically, this role will champion on-going investment and drive automation and technology best practices to optimize performance. This person must have a continuous improvement mindset and be the champion for embedding the operating model and a focus on sustainability across the Americas supply chain organization. Taking the leading role on addressing cross functional supply chain and site related themes.

Skills and Experience:

10+ years of experience leading a large, complex Supply Chain organization is required Experience transforming a global supply chain organization in support of manufacturing, commercial operations, strategy, and growth Track record of leading continuous improvement and modernizing operations, both technologically and through active development of talent Balanced skillset across manufacturing, materials planning and sourcing preferred Experience in textile or flooring manufacturing preferred Proven ability to drive a positive culture across functional lines while achieving business goals Must possess a strong engineering or operations background multi-site operations management experience Experience leading the roll out of best-in-class continuous improvement management systems (i.e., TPS, TPM, Lean, etc.) to improve safety, OEE, manufacturing processes, quality, customer delivery

Educational Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or other related function is required. A Masters degree is preferred.
