As a Senior Product Manager, you will orchestrate the development of cutting-edge travel products, harmonizing innovative solutions with user needs to solidify the company's market leadership. You'll mentor teams, integrate AI/ML advancements, and lead cross-functional efforts to actualize a data-informed, customer-centric product strategy. Your expertise will drive the creation of strategic roadmaps, foster influential stakeholder relationships, and elevate the travel experience through meticulous execution and visionary leadership.
 
What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the development and delivery of the Trust & Safety team’s roadmap on detection signals 

  • Work with the ML team and engineering leads to increase the breadth of bad actor signals and expand coverage of existing signals 

  • Propose solutions to improve safety from a preventive approach - detect any disruptive or unsafe behavior at the earliest possible 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally across Expedia Group: Product, ML, Engineering, Design, Operations, Policy, Legal, and business teams to make strategic technology bets 

  • Define project goals and key results that align with strategic vision. Gain consensus, work with Analytics to test, learn, and track results, and communicate progress to leadership 

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree; or Equivalent related professional experience 

  • You have 6+ years of software product management experience delivering products (including preferred experience across marketplace services, ML/AI products, etc.) 

  • You get a thrill from ambiguous and complex challenges, while leaning on your systems thinking powers to create customer value at scale 

  • You can collect and analyze data from various sources, identify key insights, spot product optimization opportunities, and inform product decisions. Comfortable designing technical products leveraging data, ML and AI

  • You demonstrate a critical understanding of business processes and challenges, developing solutions to meet unique business needs and objectives with engineering stakeholders

  • You have a knack for storytelling by using data and using that ability to influence senior stakeholders and key leaders

  • You demonstrate expertise in leading product vision and partnering with your technological counterparts to deliver the best possible customer experiences

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $173,000.00 to $242,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $277,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.  Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
