Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for increasing territory sales and profitability goals and developing new prospects.

Train and educate physicians and hospital staff on product use ensuring they have the most current product information; provide on-site technical support during procedures to ensure proper product use.

Inform customers of new and current products, backorders, general order status, current pricing structure, company policy changes, and forecasts for new needs.

Achieve prompt, mutually satisfactory solutions to customers’ complaints.

Attend customers meetings and tradeshows.

About you: To be successful in this role, you require:

Minimum bachelor’s degree required.

Minimum of 1 year sales operations, inside sales or outside sales experience preferably within the medical device industry.

Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and planning skills.

Thorough understanding of the needs/analysis approach to sales.

Understands the product buyer concept and contract administration.

Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD's auto safety standards.

Ability to travel at least 60%, including overnight travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

Procedure knowledge adequate to illustrate the benefits of our products.

Basic anatomy knowledge.
