To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable leader to join our team as a Flight Operations Analyst. The Flight Operations Analyst will manage the tracking and analysis of flight delays and cancelations. This position will report to the Senior Director, Operational Strategy.
Essential Duties:
Responsible for managing the tracking and analyzing of the operational performance of the airline
Ensures timely, accurate investigations and analysis of performance issues to include operational/crew delays and fleet specific performance goal issues
Conducts analysis on operational issues impacting operational performance
Ensures the accurate reporting and coding of delays
Job Qualifications and Competencies:
Excellent analytical verbal and written skills
Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite
Proven ability to work with all levels of management and support staff
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Airline flight operations experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Demonstrated competence in effective project management skills
Airline flight operations experience
Work Environment:
Ability to work a flexible schedule if needed
Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment
Physical Requirements:
Occasional lifting, up to 25 pounds
Frequent walking and climbing up and down stairs
