Position Overview

Autodesk Education Experiences (AEX) is looking for a strategic, audience-first marketer to help position Autodesk as a trusted partner in Design and Make education. This is a critical role on the Audience Marketing team responsible for shaping a compelling vision, value propositions, and messaging that resonates with school executives, influencers and decision-makers in education.

In this role, you will develop an understanding of the needs, desired outcomes, and preferences of education decision-makers, implementing strategies to communicate Autodesk's value, engage audiences, and increase market share. You will excel at integrating Autodesk's brand narrative with impactful, customer-focused messaging and offers that align with our business needs and channels.

You will articulate Autodesk's thought leadership in areas such as sustainability, AI, the future of work and STEM, tailoring this content for our education audiences. Your goal is to create a thought leadership framework that engages education decision-makers and builds awareness, credibility, and preference for Autodesk. You will report to the Senior Manager, Audience Marketing.

This position is fully remote.

Responsibilities

Serve as an internal expert and advocate for education audiences, with a focus on school executives and decision-makers

Take ownership of communications and audience messaging, contributing to full lifecycle marketing strategies that engage and shift share among education decision-makers

Create campaign messaging, briefs, positioning statements, and value propositions aligned to the education audience journey and strategy

Use message testing and feedback cycles with customers to refine and improve the AEX value proposition and positioning.

Develop expertise in Autodesk thought leadership pillars, making themes meaningful and relevant to education decision-makers

Collaborate with leadership to help craft education keynotes, executive presentations, and strategic partnership messaging

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of experience in audience-first marketing across messaging, journeys, campaigns and content to reach and engage audiences

Expertise in crafting and positioning thought leadership content to resonate across diverse audiences; a passion for the themes shaping the future of Design and Make education

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with an ability to interlock with team members in Worldwide Marketing, Education Strategy, and peers in Education Marketing from Content and Campaigns, Field Marketing, Operations and Digital

Experience in marketing to global audiences and working across time zones and geographical boundaries

Preferred Qualifications

Adept at collaborating within a matrixed environment 

A commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences 

You can have hard conversations to lead prioritization for better outcomes 

Unafraid to approach critical challenges, try new things, and challenge the norm

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $118,800 and $192,170. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
