Our mission is to develop and manufacture innovative quartz products that enable semiconductor technologies. We're looking for a Process Engineer I  to support our industry leading products here at Tosoh Quartz, Inc.

As the Process Engineer I, you will be the tip of the spear for our Quartz CNC Machining business for new products and rapid prototyping. In this role you will interact directly with Sales and our customers to bring cutting-edge quarts products to life for the semiconductor industry. This business involves creating small runs of custom and new-to-life components that become the next generation of microchip manufacturing machines.

What you’ll do at Tosoh Quartz.

Provide quotes for build-to-print parts Interpret engineering drawings and specifications Create BOMs and Routings Select processes to deliver tight tolerance features Partner with Production process Engineers Work with 3 and 5 axis CNC Programming team Shepard small-run batches through manufacturing Provide continuous improvement input for processes Involvement with machine and facility capital projects Research into new technologies that drive the business forward Continuous improvement projects to improve process quality and reduce cost Root-cause problems solving

Who you are.

Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, or equivalent. Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Experience with Solidworks or other CAD software.

We’d love to see:

Experience with Lean principles and continuous improvement projects is a plus.
