A well-established construction company is seeking experienced Superintendents to join its growing team. Candidates must have a strong background in base building within sectors such as K-12 education, healthcare, industrial, or senior living/CCRCs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Focus: Uphold and support all corporate safety initiatives, ensuring a safe working environment is a top priority across all projects.
  • Project Planning: Review plans, specifications, and contracts to develop construction procedures emphasizing safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Schedule Management: You play a crucial role in developing project schedules and leading construction activities to ensure alignment with the project’s logic, sequence, and timeline.
  • Procurement Oversight: Manage the procurement of tools and materials, ensuring timely delivery that meets quality standards and work schedules.
  • Team Coordination: Direct and collaborate with supervisory personnel and subcontractors to plan, execute, and coordinate various construction phases, maintaining adherence to the project schedule.
  • Problem Resolution: Work closely with supervisory teams, design personnel, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve construction problems and improve methods.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect ongoing work to meet specifications and adhere to the construction schedule.
  • Reporting: Prepare and review reports on project progress, materials used, and costs, making necessary adjustments to work schedules.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with regulatory requirements and other oversight agencies.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience with a commercial general contractor, supervising projects valued at over $30 million.
