is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to support the enterprise’s strategic plan to attract, engage, and retain the highest quality workforce throughout SRC. The Learning and Development Specialist is a key position that supports the workplace training and development program. This position plans, creates and delivers learning and development programs for staff and leaders in frontline supervisor, leadership and individual contributor roles. The specialist will apply adult learning principles to the creation of programs, projects, and initiatives to ensure an effective and meaningful outcome for individual, group, on-line, and in-person training. What You’ll Do Coordinate all aspects of training classes including scheduling, class preparation, registration, attendance, and post-learning evaluation Administer all learning tasks in the learning management system including content management, registrar duties, and reporting Assist with the preparation and management of the training budget Facilitate meetings and communications with SRC’s Training Advisory Council Partner with stakeholders and vendors to conceive and deliver the necessary training to the right audience to meet company needs and support employees’ career development Plan, design, coordinate and evaluate competency-based education and training, both in-person and virtual, for individual contributors and frontline leaders in our leadership development program Oversee effective and engaging new employee orientation programming in support of a smooth onboarding experience Support employee career development goals through counseling on career paths/progression, role transitions, upskilling/reskilling, and identifying growth opportunities through personal and professional projects What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources Development, Organizational Development, or related field Minimum 3 years of experience in workplace training, including at the leadership level coordinating learning solutions in virtual and in-person settings Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Zoom experience Must be . citizen Ways to Stand Out - Preferred Requirements: Excellent oral and written communication and project management skills: must be responsive, organized, detail-oriented, an effective communicator Creativity and collaborative orientation; able to work with all internal audiences and develop strong relationships with external vendor partners Demonstrated expertise in content development, design and delivery for adult learners Familiarity with Saba Cornerstone Learning Management System (a plus); ability to troubleshoot user access issues and provide resolution (required) Previous experience with career coaching and leadership development What Sets Us Apart? The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $65,000 to $75,000 annually.
