Role Summary:

This role includes HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more. You'll ensure tenant satisfaction by delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficient operation and maintenance of all building systems.
  • Install, fabricate, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Plan and execute work assignments using BMS.
  • Follow inspection and service procedures for preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular building inspections and suggest improvements.
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
  • Foster positive tenant relations and team spirit.
  • Support Lead Engineer and Chief Engineer with technical expertise.

 

Requirements:

  • HVAC or Operation Engineering certification/training.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • CFC universal certification.
  • Minimum 4 years of field experience.
  • Proficiency in Building Automation Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, NEC, and NEC codes and regulations.
  • Relevant licenses for applicable jurisdictions (e.g., DC 6th Class Steam Engineer’s License, Maryland 3rd Grade Stationary Engineer’s License).

 

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and use of arms.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally 50+ lbs.
  • Requires close, distance, color vision, and depth perception.
