Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOPS Consulting is seeking a Build and Integration Engineer 2 to work in Laurel, MD.

As a Build and Integration Engineer 3 at OPS Consulting you will be responsible for the operation, design, and integration of a broad range of systems and components. You will provide expertise on integrating sub-systems at scale, as well as interfaces with environmental systems, facilities, data systems, and security infrastructure.

Required Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience with complex electrical systems integration
  • 5+ years of experience with facility-level electrical systems designed to meet highly custom/challenging requirements, such as:
    • Complex scientific project power distribution and management
    • HPC center electrical design and integration.
  • Significant expertise in at least two of the following areas and familiarity with at least three additional areas:
    • Facility AC power conditioning and monitoring
    • Facility high-voltage power distribution and load balancing
    • DC power conditioning, distribution
    • Backup power generation
    • Industrial control systems (SCADA)
    • Advanced electrical fabrication and manufacturing processes
    • High performance computing power requirements
    • Digital communications (Ethernet, etc.)
      • EMI (ESD, Magnetic Field)
      • Safety and Hazard Analysis
      • Maintainability Analysis
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, Physics or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
    • Five years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Security Clearance: A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
