Job/Role Description:
The Project Manager will oversee the implementation of a contract solution (SPM Platform, Trading Product Line) on the Salesforce CVX SF Platform. The role involves integration development, redesign, and coordination across multiple workstreams and a global user base. The ideal candidate will have experience leading projects that span multiple teams and geographies.
Required Skills and Attributes:
Demonstrates strong leadership skills to guide the project team and maintain project momentum. Exhibits excellent communication skills to effectively convey project goals, progress, and issues to all stakeholders. Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and workstreams simultaneously. Ensures that project documentation and schedules are meticulously maintained. Team Management Proven ability to manage and motivate diverse teams across different geographies. Facilitates collaboration and resolves conflicts within the team. Vendor Partnership Able to effectively partner with vendors to align on project plans and monitor associated progress. Ensures vendor deliverables meet project requirements and timelines. Stakeholder Engagement Skilled in engaging with stakeholders at all levels, understanding their needs and ensuring their requirements are met. Maintains strong relationships with stakeholders to foster project support and collaboration. Status Reporting Produces clear and concise status reports for stakeholders and senior management. Regularly updates project status, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues. Risk and Issue Management Proficient in identifying, managing, and monitoring project risks and issues. Develops mitigation strategies and takes corrective actions as needed. Contract Business Understanding Quickly grasps an overall understanding of the contracts business in Sales and Trading (S&T). Uses this knowledge to inform project decisions and stakeholder communications. Maintains effective communication channels across all project participants. Ensures that information is disseminated accurately and timely. Issue Resolution: Experience: Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale, cross-functional projects, particularly in IT solution implementations. Experience with Salesforce platforms is highly desirable. Education: A degree in Project Management, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
