Acute Care Regional VP of Culinary 

Salary $150,000.00


Vice President, Culinary, Healthcare

Oversee and support HHS’ healthcare culinary operations at multiple hospitals across a region. Motivate on-site management teams and drive success by creating a positive culture and implementing HHS programs and ensuring that policies and best practices are followed.

Responsibilities

Set clear expectations and performance goals and drive compliance across multiple accountsCoach and mentor managers and team members to drive success and create a pipeline of promotable leaders for future growthEncourage and inspire on-site teams to achieve a high level of success and create an inclusive work environmentChampion new programs and initiatives to drive adoption at the account levelPerform inspections and assessments and set achievable goals based on current outcomesSupporting new products and processes to incorporate sustainable foods and fine dining in our culinary standardsSupport recruitment, training, and retention for on-site management teamsMonitor the implementation and effectiveness of policies and programs that support patient satisfaction, safety, and moreManage multiple budgets and drive fiscal responsibility and maximize profitsFoster positive relationships between HHS and partner facility administrationAnalyze data and make adjustments to meet facility, budget, and compliance goalsProvide hands-on assistance as needed to support positive outcomes

Requirements

2+ years of experience managing operations across multiple locationsServeSafe Food Service Manager CertificationComputer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platformsCulinary skills and knowledge, including recipe and ingredient knowledge, food presentation, s and food safety and sanitationAbility to travel a minimum of 75% of the timeMust be willing to relocate for promotion opportunities 

Not Required But a Big Plus

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)Experience working in a hospital environmentKnowledge of fine dining programs, sustainable foods, and farm-to-fork conceptsProficiency in languages other than English, especially SpanishFamiliarity with OSHA, The Joint Commission, and other regulatory guidelines
