The Things You'll Do:

  • Design and manage efficient payroll processes that keep everything running smoothly
  • Process weekly payroll, bonuses, and reimbursements, ensuring everyone is paid accurately and on time
  • Integrate new hires into our payroll system (Paychex), ensuring they start off on the right foot
  • Manage updates to W-4s, pay rates, and documentation, keeping everything updated and accurate
  • Oversee benefits administration and yearly Open Enrollment
  • Ensure our payroll practices comply with legal standards and company policies
  • Manage garnishments and respond to unemployment claims
  • Identify and resolve payroll or benefits-related issues, and provide occasional support to the People team

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Payroll Experience — You have experience processing payroll for 500+ employees
  • Benefits Experience — You have experience administering employee benefits and retirement plans
  • Payroll Software — You’re an Excel pro and are an expert in payroll systems (we use Paychex)
  • Time-Tracking Software — You’re familiar with time-tracking software (we use 7Shifts)
  • Accounting Knowledge — You’re familiar with GAAP and payroll-related accounting practices
  • Time Management — You’re great at managing your time, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines
