Primary Responsibilities:
Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous and helpful mannerVerifies insurance information, address and phone number of the patient, registers new patientsArrives patients on the computer for scheduled appointmentCollects and posts co-pays; Batches out at the end of the work daySchedules patients for future appointmentsAssists therapists with paperwork needed for pre-certification of therapy visitsAnswers telephone, takes messages for therapistsConfirms new patient appointments for the next dayPerforms clerical duties such as copying, faxing and filingPerforms related work as requiredYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:

Work is performed in reception areaInvolves frequent contact with patients both in person and on the phoneNew York Residents Only: The salary range for New York residents is $16.00 to $27.31 per hour.
