This role will be responsible for analyzing information from multiple source systems, finding insights, and designing data stories to explain those insights to a wide variety of audiences. Experience in SQL is a must, and the ability to extract and cleanse information from multiple system types is valued.

Responsibilities/Qualifications

Pet Supplies Plus is a brick and mortar retailer with a strong ecommerce and omni-channel emphasis. Experience in retail & digital marketing measures and techniques is a plus. The ideal candidate can dive deep into the data, determine the story it tells and present that story to marketing and senior leadership. Self-direction and motivation are also key characteristics in a qualified candidate.

The Marketing Data Analyst will:

Create advanced reporting and analysis for campaigns and projects through Microsoft SQL, Excel and PowerBI. Write complex queries for marketing campaigns and analysis of those campaign results. Prepare high quality presentations and dashboards for management and marketing teams, highlighting campaign performance and tracking toward business goals. Apply various analytic methods to discover and interpret information from multiple data sources . Strategize new ways to grow our marketing database and optimize campaign performance – response, deliverability, open rate, click rate, conversion rate, ROI, etc. Analyze market segments and determine which segment is more responsive, which campaign is most successful, and be able to communicate this from a statistical perspective.

PAWsome  Marketing Data Analyst c andidates will have:

A minimum of two years of experience in an analyst role. Experience with SQL including writing queries and creating tables. Experience extracting data from multiple data sources . database, and external sources/links. Experience with visualization tools, ideally Excel and PowerBI. Proven track record of designing and producing analysis projects at the campaign, product, or portfolio level. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Knowledge of digital tools such as Google Analytics and Google Adwords. Understanding of marketing concepts like segmentation, personas and incremental response. Experience in Python or R is preferred.
