Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing visual representations and reports for critical business metrics.
  • Collaborating closely with the Business Intelligence Manager, Business Analyst, and other cross-functional team members to identify business needs and requirements.
  • Generating queries to extract pertinent data from the ERP system for use in BI dashboards.
  • Creating, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated processes or features necessary for the ongoing updating or archiving of visualizations and reports.
  • Identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies in the data collection process in coordination with the Business Intelligence Manager or relevant team members.
  • Participating in meetings focused on metrics.
  • Ensuring adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or certification in business intelligence or analytics.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Business Intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.

Essential Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel (advanced formulas, pivots, if/then), and Outlook.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Power BI or other business intelligence software.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights for the business and functional leadership, including selecting appropriate charts/graphs/tables for data presentation.
  • Flexibility to adapt metrics and visualizations based on evolving business needs.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on team projects.
  • Capability to complete assignments within the framework of given instructions, established routines, and accepted practices.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
  • Basic understanding of supply chain processes and key business metrics.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, and scripting.
  • Familiarity with Structured Query Language (SQL), Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), Python, JSON, or other programming languages.
  • Knowledge of Peoplesoft and query creation.
  • Understanding of data relationships and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Proactive individual who seeks opportunities to enhance processes without prompting.
