Job DescriptionJob Description

Leader in distribution of specialty building materials is seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative to grow long-term with our organization. This role is crucial for enhancing customer satisfaction and supporting sales growth.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct daily in-person and phone sales calls to secure orders.
  • Cross-sell products to existing customers.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and maintain positive customer relations.
  • Network with key decision-makers via phone.
  • Quote prices, prepare proposals, and provide sales information.
  • Maintain sales records and generate market/sales reports.
  • Investigate and resolve customer delivery issues.
  • Research and propose product enhancements for increased sales.
  • Liaise with Inside Sales for order processing.
  • Proactively establish new customer contacts.


Qualifications:

  • 5 years of sales experience, industry knowledge preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and internet-based data sourcing.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
