Human Resources Consultant (Part-time)
The Human Resources Consultant is responsible for performing advanced, specialized and administrative duties in the following functional areas: talent acquisition and onboarding, performance management, employee relations, benefits administration, HRIS/ATS administration, guidance for employees, and leadership consultation related to human resources policies and procedures. Candidates should be US based and looking for ongoing part-time work during regular business hours of 8-5 pm EST. This position will be approximately 15 hours per week on a regular basis.

Responsibilities
  • Acts as an internal consultant by analyzing and recommending solutions to human resources issues as it relates to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Ensures areas of compliance align with established policies and procedures regarding organizational regulating agencies, including but not limited to relevant federal, state or local legislation.
  • Leads as a subject matter expert on internal investigations involving policy violations, rule violations, harassment, and other conflicts; manage investigations, corrective actions, and performance improvement plans in compliance with organizational policy, federal and state law.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and manage the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Leads benefits administration including market research, plan rollout, plan management and compliance maintenance.
  • Administer the performance review process, including goal setting, performance feedback and development planning.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS system and candidate and recruitment process records in ATS system.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR or administrative role in a management consulting or other professional services environment with exposure to recruitment sourcing, process management and onboarding.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and ATS administration, Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to proactively communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) a plus
