Kinetic Events Staffing is searching for staff to assist with multiple events happening in the greater San Diego area this summer & fall. San Diego is a busy market for us and this is a great opportunity for those looking for a fun, professional, and collaborative work environment
Our largest event of the year will be held at the San Diego Convention Center and surrounding hotels from 9/17 to 9/23. We will be supporting our client with a variety of different positions at their semi-annual gaming convention. If you are passionate about live streaming and video gaming, we encourage you to apply
We will have more events to offer before this event in August & September and after this event in October & November for those who have the availability and the desire to work.
Additional Event Details
- Job duties include registration, crowd flow, room management, and other attendee-facing roles. Must be willing to work all roles.
- Shifts for the upcoming gaming convention will range from 4 hrs - 11 hrs per day.
- You can expect 15 - 40 hrs of work throughout the seven-day event.
- Pay is $22/hour (Estimated $88 - $275/day of gross income)
- Daily overtime over 8 hours is provided at 1.5x/hourly rate.
- Rest & meal breaks are paid.
Ideal Candidates
- Must be available/have a flexible schedule on the days of this event as shift times may be subject to change.
- Previous event experience is preferred, but not required.
- A customer service/hospitality background is a must to succeed in these onsite positions
- Must be friendly, outgoing, and professional.
- Must be comfortable standing for extended periods of time and interacting with large groups of people.
