Tooling Engineer – Kapco Grafton, WI

If you are driven to succeed with a passion for the professional growth and development of others, our employee-focused company may have the right opportunity for you. Kapco Inc. is looking for a Tooling Engineer at our Grafton, WI location.

Responsibilities:

Directs & maintains all aspects of tooling and die functions. Oversee the creation and acquisition of new dies, including purchasing decisions. Ensure the maintenance and repair of tool and die are up to standards. Design and develop fixtures, such as weld fixtures, to support production. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the tooling and die department. Secure competitive tooling quotes for new and revised projects. Engage in new product development reviews to ensure timely tooling completion. Procure the necessary controls, dies, tools, equipment, and fixtures to maintain quality standards. Uphold the authority to halt production to prevent the creation of non-conforming products. Contribute to improvement teams and undertake additional duties as required.
