Essential Duties and Responsibilities
We operate in a fast-paced, ever-changing technology world, so duties and responsibilities can change. Initially you will be responsible for the following key activities and probably a few others based on our focus areas at the time.
- Deploy, migrate, manage, and troubleshoot Windows-based systems
- Lead technical efforts on multiple concurrent internal and customer-facing projects
- Ensure engineering support requests are answered in a timely manner in alignment with defined SLAs
- Ensure vulnerabilities are managed with priority, to align with the UFS vulnerability policy
- Adhere to UFS change management policies
- Perform technical research, development, and documentation for product development initiatives
- Provide stewardship and administration for existing products and internal systems
- Continually design, develop, and revisit existing engineering processes
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation
- Create or gather reports and information as needed.
- Work in a 24/7 Fast paced environment
- Actively participate in special projects and strategic initiatives based on UFS priorities for the year
- Be willing to travel up to 25%

- 5+ years working with Windows servers
- 2+ years’ experience working with RMM tools
- 3+ years demonstrating best-in-class customer service
- Demonstrated willingness and acceptance of change
- Familiarity with the concept of Change Management and a preconceived appreciation of ITIL
- Final-tier understanding of 4 or more of the following technologies: Hyper-V, VMware, Endpoint Management, Active Directory, RDS, Citrix VDI, Exchange or Microsoft 365, RSA/2FA/Etc
- Demonstrated ability to ‘fly without a net’ regarding final-tier support
