Position Title: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - Palliative Care
Overview : The APRN is responsible to work in collaboration with patients, their families and other caregivers, the patient’s primary care physician, and other specialists as appropriate, in an active practice to deliver episodic acute care and chronic medical management for patients with progressive illnesses. This position is based in the hospital.

APRN with current Florida licenses required 3-5 years of experience required; experience in palliative care related area preferred. ANCC Board certification in palliative care nursing is preferred. Requires a current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification (Trainer must use American Heart Association Guidelines). Hospice and/or long-term care experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to work non-judgmentally with persons of varied cultural, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds and lifestyles. Current Florida driver's license and insurance.Environment:
