Job Title:Program Manager (HS)Department:Medicine | College Administration

Program Manager -Acts as an active member of the education team in the Department of Plastic Surgery. Designs, develops, implements, and manages the Plastic Surgery Residency, and several fellowship programs, as well as the Continuing Medical education program. Responsible for overall strategic planning, management, and promotion of educational evens originating from the department of Plastic Surgery. Serves as liason to faculty and organizations inquiring about program, and to local and national organizations and offices, including ACGME. Prepares accreditation materials, assists program directors in maintaining program accreditation, and acts a key participant in site visit activities. Establishes and implements program policies. Develops and manages program budget and monitors program expenses. Develops, prepares, and manages program budget. Develops program evaluation methods and forms. Interviews, trains, and evaluates residency program support staff. Participates in residency interview process and selection decisions. Serves on departmental grand rounds committee. Reports directly to Program director of Residency program. Prepares reports as necessary. Develops new programs as necessary. Establishes improvements to the overall effectiveness of the educational goals set by the department

Education RequiredBachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in business administrationRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree plus two years experience or an equivalent of six years experience in healthcare is required; Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
