Hospice Caregiver Responsibilities:
  • Companionship: Provide attention to clients’ non-medical needs, including companionship and social engagement.
  • Daily Activities Assistance: Help with bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
  • Housekeeping: Assist client with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
  • Transportation: Drive clients to nearby appointments or social engagements.
  • Reliability: Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts
Caregiver Requirements:
  • Experience: Experience working with Clients on Hospice, or recovering from injury or illness.
  • Skills: Compassionate, social, trustworthy, and service-minded individuals are ideal.
  • Certifications: Have or be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Transportation: Have reliable transportation
  • Background Check/HCA: Must be willing to undergo a national background check & TB test.
