What You’ll Do

Responsibilities:

  • Cutting and welding with a variety of processes.
  • Machining fabrication materials and components.
  • Fitting, setting, and installing fabricated structures.
  • Make repairs to cargo boxes, trailers, frames, wheelbases.
  • Keep neat and orderly records on work performed and repairs made.
  • Repair, design, layout, and estimation and metal forming, bending, and finishing.
  • Be responsible for keeping track of time records relating to repairs, shop time, and payroll hours for oneself.
  • Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.

  • Uses specialized equipment, such as metal welding or soldering tools, to build components.
  • Review blueprints, drawings, and other specification papers before starting work on a fabrication process and during the steps to ensure accurate completion.
What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

  • ASE Credentials Preferred.
  • High school diploma or a GED equivalent.
  • Excellent color vision and hand dexterity.
  • Physical ability to lift at least 75 pounds or more.
  • At least two years of experience in fabrication preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screening required by DOT.
