The Center Assistant Director works in coordination with the Center Director providing the daily oversight for all programs within the childcare department (Infant, Toddler, Preschool).  This includes assisting with all aspects of compliance and program regulation, licensing, staffing and professional development, curriculum, quality control, budgeting, parent communication and public relations. The Assistant Director plays a key administrative role within the childcare center, including: managing leads and conducting tours, managing food service and ordering supplies for curriculum execution, overseeing building maintenance, and auditing children’s files to ensure compliance with licensing and The Learning Experience standards. The Assistant Director provides program oversight for the Center Director when he or she is not available.
 
Role Responsibilities 
Daily Tasks: 
·       Log Incident Reports into our CRM  
·       Staff/Child Timeclock Audit      
·       Daily Staff Schedule (w/director)
·       Marketing Planning/Execution
·       Tours: Conduct and enroll  
·       Daily Labor Hours 
·       Approve TLE app pictures 
·       Checking and responding to emails 
·       CCAP Children clock in/out  
 
Weekly Tasks:
·       CCAP Reconciliation/Adjust Times 
·       Update Attendance Sheets 
·       Hallway Curriculum Bulletin Board updates 
·       Supply Order and Shopping 
·       Janitorial Supply Inventory
·       Audit/Update Child Files
·       CRM audit for child information/accuracy
·       Food Orders
 
Monthly Tasks: 
·       Philanthropy Planning and Execution 
·       Hallway Classroom Bulletin Boards
·       Allergy List updates (monthly and as-needed)
·       CCAP Audit and Reminder Letters
·       Monthly Parent Newsletter 
·       Staff & Parent Pleasers
·       Marketing Planning for month ahead
·       Building maintenance 

Qualifications: 
·       At least one year of center leadership/management experience required. Two or more years of center leadership/management experience highly preferred 
·       Must have professional teaching experience with infants to preschool children
·       Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field highly preferred
·       Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations
·       CPR and First Aide Certification highly preferred
·       Must meet state specific guidelines
