It is an exciting time to join KPMG as we expand our Strategic Sourcing & Procurement organization and stand up a Third-Party Risk function for the US firm. KPMG is currently seeking a Strategic Sourcing Senior Associate, IT Professional Services to join our Strategic Sourcing and Procurement team. This role specifically focuses on IT Professional Services and will support the firm’s internal operations and is not a client facing/ consultant position.
Responsibilities:
Offer specialized knowledge in sourcing IT Professional Services, including outsourcing, to support internal strategies for the procurement of services; analyze spending data, understand market trends, gather category-specific information, and consider business needsSupport the creation of Request for Proposals and Requests (RFP) Requests for Quotes (RFQ), to effectively procure IT Professional Services; collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define evaluation criteria, and ensure compliance with organizational policiesDraft, review, and negotiate contract terms with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and compliance with legal and organizational requirements, including defining services, deliverables, acceptance criteria, service level agreements (SLA), and key performance indicators (KPI)Conduct in-depth market and spend data analysis to create financial models such as ROI, NPV, supplier scorecards, savings tracking, and make vs. buy decision models; utilize these models to support strategic sourcing projects using established sourcing practices with the goal of delivering value in collaboration with key stakeholders throughout the organizationFacilitate effective supplier performance management and foster the development of new capabilities through collaboration with suppliers and key stakeholders; provide feedback to suppliers on their performance, encouraging continuous improvement and innovation; proactively identify and address any performance issues by working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring efficient resolutionDevelop and build trusting and influential business relationships with both stakeholders and suppliers engaged with the businessQualifications:
Minimum three years of recent experience in strategic sourcing, contract reviews, contract negotiations, supplier management, outsourcing, and project managementBachelor's degree for an accredited college/university required; Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferredExcellent interpersonal, collaborative, and influencing skills are essential to navigate a complex management and organizational structure with a high level of ambiguity; ability to work effectively with suppliers, project team members, project sponsors, functional leads, and senior managementStrong organizational, time management, and project management skills are required; able to handle multiple projects and contract negotiations simultaneously is important; demonstrated skills in analysis, finance, problem-solving, organization, and project management are also necessary KPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
