EmpiRx Health is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Financial Risk Management. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in maintaining EmpiRx Health’s profitability by deeply understanding and monitoring client performance and identifying opportunities for improvement. This role ensures accurate financial guardrails and facilitates informed decision-making processes across the organization. 

What You'll Do:

As a Manager, Financial Risk Management, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities affecting client performance.
  • Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Interpret client contracts and leverage to develop P/L strategies.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and scenario modeling to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Drive analysis and evaluation of strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing business performance and achieving long-term objectives.
  • Strategize and implement reporting and analytical capabilities to promote data integrity and efficiency.
  • Develop reporting strategy and roadmap to meet needs of key stakeholders.
  • Prepare high quality presentations and financial analyses for executive-level audiences.
  • Summarize key insights, highlight strategic implications, and facilitate the decision-making process.
  • Oversee the consolidation of financial data from various sources.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to gather data, validate assumptions, and drive consensus on financial plans.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial goals, priorities, and strategies.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to optimize performance through improved operational planning and finance partnership.
  • Collaborate with the Rebate & Network Management Team to guide them toward client performance goals; establish appropriate stretch targets.  
  • Foster a culture of financial discipline and accountability across the organization through education and collaboration.
  • Support the finance team’s transformation on to new platforms and reporting tools.
  • Cultivate culture, while ensuring the team is positioned with adequate resources for success.
  • Be an effective communicator and motivator, while placing an emphasis on setting goals and priorities.

What You Need:
  • B.S. in Business, Finance and/or Accounting
  • 5+ years of experience within Corporate FP&A
  • At least 1 year of experience in working for a PBM
  • At least 1 year of managing or leading a financial services team
  • Comfortability in creating and presenting data to the senior leadership
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
