Description

Summary : Specialist, Supply Chain, is responsible for entering and modifying data in the company's SAP database and other organizational tools. In addition to the data management responsibilities this role will assist in basic Project Management duties to include new/existing item setup. They are also required to provide quality control over the data elements, and to provide guidance to the customers and co-workers according to their needs. The Specialist Supply Chain handles internal inbound requests for data management to existing accounts in accordance with divisional policies to ensure the accuracy and quality of customer master data. In this role, you will be part of the Supply Chain team responsible for the efficient and effective management of Vi-Jon's internal and customer data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create, edit, and update master data in Material Master, Vendor and Customer Master as received from requesting departments.
  • Receive, track, and troubleshoot data issues reported from the business.
  • Execute or coordinate the execution of data creation/changes in the SAP system.
  • Provide assistance in the resolution of master data inconsistencies.
  • Manage new/converting item workflows to ensure timely product launches.
  • Manage BLUE art review tool - create and manage Graphic Team related projects.
  • Manage incoming printer proof review through our internal Regulatory and Legal review.
  • Conduct follow-up auditing and exception reporting
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proven analytical experience with high aptitude for research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service focused; ability to partner with internal/external contacts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail, with focus on data quality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated initiative with ability to work both independently and across multiple teams.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and adapt to a changing environment.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Intermediate PC skills, with proficiency using MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Proven ability to provide timely, accurate detailed processing of requests.
Experience Requirements:
  • Prior experience in data entry and data management preferred.
Competencies:
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to interact well in team environment Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary in this position due to the sensitivity of the communication with customers
