Supply Chain AnalystPosition Summary: The Supply Chain Analyst will find a challenging opportunity to support production and development of high quality protein products for our foodservice, retail, and chain restaurant customers. The Supply Chain Analyst will contribute to the Supply Chain team and work to maintain excellent service, quality, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has a high level of analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. Branding Iron's people first and collaborative culture will allow the Supply Chain Analyst to build the cross-functional knowledge and relationships needed for a successful and rewarding career.Duties and Responsibilities:Create processes to gather relevant data to solve internal and external supply chain problems.Analyze data to support supply chain initiatives: focus around inventory accuracy, warehouse replenishment, internal product transfers, and outbound shipments.Develop strategies and executing a plan tied to inter-company shipments and optimum warehouse utilization.Build predictive models for warehouse utilization and capacity constraints.Partner with Business Applications vendors and internal stakeholders to implement and utilize supply chain management software solutions.Assist in developing tactics tied to balancing inventory levels with warehouse capacity.Plan and implement supply chain optimization for out-bound shipments, including working cross-functionally with warehouse personnel to ensure timely and accurate execution of supply chain strategies.Work in a collaborative environment with other team members to develop new solutions to solve customer issues.Provide routine updates to internal stakeholders regarding potential upstream and downstream impacts of warehousing constraints and opportunities.Establish standards of performance and measuring results for inventory control, warehousing, inter-co transfers and outbound shipments.Develop dashboard and scorecard metrics to drive efficiencies and cost containment throughout the supply chain.Develop a system of communication, documentation, and review of internal and external dataRecommend improvements throughout the entire supply chain.Work Environment:Exposure to cold environment- 0 (zero) to 42 degrees.Exposure to shop environment such as noise, cold, damp environment, and allergens.Qualifications /Other Requirements:5+ Years of Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or Logistics is preferred.Analytical Mind combined with Business acumen.Aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving.Attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills.Experience in data Mining, analysis, and reporting.Demonstrated skills in MS office, relational databases, and ERP systems.Experience in Lean Six Sigma methodology preferred.Must have proven history from school or work experience of strong leadership through envisioning, direction setting and enrolling others; thinking/problem solving; creativity & innovation; strong initiative, agility & follow-through; communication; and priority setting.A statistical qualification is not required, but comfort with data analysis is essential.Must be an expert in building Excel pivot tables and use of PowerPoint. Requirements Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; OR 3 years of supply chain experience Experience in food manufacturing preferred.Intermediate or Higher Microsoft Excel experience required.
