Business Development Lead

ESTAT Actuation is developing lightweight and efficient hardware that enables new functionality and unprecedented performance in motion systems. About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Business Development Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for in-depth customer interaction and needs identification, crafting ESTAT product solutions to meet customer needs, and driving customer relationships to scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive customer interaction strategy to drive engagement and solutions
- Continually perform customer discovery research to inform product attributes, sales channels, pricing, and marketing strategy
- Identify and target new business opportunities through market research and analysis
- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to develop innovative product solutions to meet customer needs
- Attend trade shows and other industry events to network and generate leads
- Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to customers and key stakeholders
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape and industry trends
- Manage and track sales pipeline and collaborate on strategy weekly
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated B2B business development leadership success, preferably in the actuator industry, motion control industry, or robotics industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships with customers
- Ability to develop strong understanding of customer technical needs and to communicate product value propositions
- Proven track record of taking new innovative products to market and driving revenue growth
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex business challenges
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
