Payroll Administrator

Our client is a dynamic and impactful non-profit organization dedicated to offering a wide array of programs for children in our state. Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain employee payroll records and ensure they are up-to-date
  • Calculate and process payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments
  • Generate and distribute paychecks or arrange for direct deposit
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
  • Prepare payroll reports for management as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations related to payroll and ensure compliance
  • Assist with other finance-related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience as a payroll administrator or similar role
  • Strong understanding of payroll principles, practices, and regulations
  • Proficiency with payroll software and MS Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience working in a non-profit organization is a plus
