The Director of Sales will be an analytical problem solver, capable of assessing needs and resources, devising effective plans, and executing them to achieve outstanding results. With a deep expertise in sales, the candidate will be responsible for aligning our sales strategies with our core values of relentlessness, passion, commitment to excellence, and curiosity.

Responsibilities: Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, motivation, and continuous improvement. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify new opportunities for expansion. Work closely with the executive team to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Assess sales performance and conduct regular reviews to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of sales efforts with the rest of the organization. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide decision-making and strategy adjustments. Oversee the development and execution of sales training programs to enhance the team's skills and capabilities. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends to remain at the forefront of the market. Some travel required.

Qualifications: Proven experience as a successful sales leader, preferably in manufacturing or related industry. Track record of building and scaling high-performing sales teams. Exceptional leadership skills with a talent for developing and inspiring others. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to make data-driven decisions. Expertise in sales techniques, negotiation, and closing deals. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Alignment with SouthWood's core values of being relentless, passionate, committed to excellence, and curious.
