MOGAS is seeking an experienced, driven and proactive Senior Quality Process Engineer to join the QHSE department This role will be responsible for the following:

  • Maintaining the integrity of MOGAS products and processes through effective application of quality concepts, in line with MOGAS Industries internal quality standards, external Quality Management Systems certifications, customer requirements and other applicable standards.
  • Provide Quality Engineering support to MOGAS departments and functions along the value stream (i.e. Sales, R&D, Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, Planning, Operations, Service, etc.) ensuring flawless execution of projects, orders and initiatives from conceptual stage to delivery and commissioning through consistent application of quality, safety and export compliance principles
  • Ensure continuous improvement of MOGAS products and processes by leading and facilitating cross-functional events and initiatives such as lessons learned, advance quality planning, failure mode and effect analysis, or implementing other applicable best practices
  • Catalyst and resource for Quality and Process improvements driving excellence through utilization of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies and tools, cost effective strategies that meet or exceed internal and external customers’ expectations.
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (i.e. Mechanical or Industrial) or other technical areas required
  • Mechanical aptitude (i.e. intuitive understanding of mechanical or engineering processes)
  • Change management and superior interpersonal skills (i.e. Understand technical and human issues related to operational or non-operational system improvements)
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement through application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and tools and effective project management preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Formal previous training in Lean and Six Sigma, Process Control and SPC, variation reduction, Problem Solving techniques, DOE, etc, would be beneficial.
  • Formal training in Quality Management Systems and Internal Auditor Certification preferred
