Business Intelligence Expert - TS/SCI Poly - Bethesda, MD

BizFirst is assisting our client with recruiting a Full-time Business Intelligence Expert - TS/SCI Poly - Bethesda, MD. Our client is a boutique consulting firm that employs consultants and professionals with unique skill sets to support the federal government with strategic execution, financial process enablement, IT systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation.

What will you do

As a Business Intelligence Expert, you will serve as the subject matter professional providing support and direction related to business intelligence to provide information regarding the technology-driven process for analyzing data and delivering actionable information. In this role, you will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of data analytics tools and applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Acts as the subject matter professional providing support and direction related to business intelligence
  • Provides information regarding the technology-driven process for analyzing data and delivering actionable information
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of data analytics tools and applications
  • Advises management on issues, impacts, risks, and options
  • Advises management, customers, and co-workers on implementing policies and procedures
  • Develops long-range strategic plans to meet mission-critical priorities and accomplish work goals
  • Develops executive-level strategic plans and briefs senior leadership in the Federal Government or the private sector
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, or economics
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial management disciplines, including generating standards, researching practices, producing analysis, and issuing policies
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience producing executive-level strategic plans within a Federal department, agency, or private sector
Preferred Skills
  • Master's degree in business, accounting, or finance
  • More than 10 years of experience in developing long-range strategic plans to meet mission-critical priorities and accomplish work goals
  • More than 8-10 years of experience as a Business Intelligence/Solutions Expert
  • 8-10 years of experience with the Federal Government
