Data Analytics Expert – TS/SCI with CI Poly – Bethesda, MD

BizFirst is assisting our client with recruiting a Full-time Data Analytics Expert – TS/SCI with CI Poly – Bethesda, MD. Our client is a boutique consulting firm that employs consultants and professionals with unique skill sets to support the federal government with strategic execution, financial process enablement, IT systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation.

What will you do


As a Data Analytics Expert, you will serve as the onsite team lead over a contractor team, providing expert-level data analytics capabilities. In this role, you will:

  • Provide information and recommendations regarding financial management and budgetary issues, questions, and scenarios using advanced data analytics skills.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of data analytics tools and applications.


Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the onsite team lead over a contractor team
  • Provides information and recommendations regarding financial management and budgetary issues, questions, and scenarios by leveraging data analytics capabilities
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of data analytics tools and applications
  • Performs advanced data analysis, including data visualization, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling to generate insights
  • Produces executive-level strategic plans within a Federal department, agency, or private sector organization
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to gather data, clarify requirements, and present findings to support decision-making
  • Shares expertise and best practices with the broader team
  • Stays up-to-date on the latest advancements in data analytics and continually develops their skills
  • Generates standards, researches practices, and issues policies related to financial management


Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, mathematics, or economics
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial management disciplines, including generating standards, researching practices, producing analysis, and issuing policies
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience producing executive-level strategic plans within a Federal department, agency, or private sector


Preferred Skills
  • Master's degree in business, accounting, finance, mathematics, or economics
  • Certified Government Financial Manager or Certified Defense Financial Management
  • More than 8-10 years of experience in Information Technology and Systems
  • More than 8-10 years of experience implementing or managing data systems for Federal agencies, departments, or the private sector
  • More than 8-10 years of experience with the Intelligence Community (IC) and/or Federal Government, or private sector
