POSITION SUMMARY

We are searching for a skilled vertical market manager to create, oversee and manage client relationships on a national basis for our company. In this role, you will act as the senior representative for the company and work with and create our national clients and partners.

To ensure success as a national account manager, you should have excellent interpersonal skills, confidence, and the ability to lead a team of salespeople in managing accounts across the country. A top-notch account manager will bring skills as a negotiator, problem solver, and thought-leader to the table.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
  • Ability to travel 50% to and meet with various individuals including Major Hospitality Brands, Ownership Groups, management Groups and Hospitality focused buying groups
  • Participates in Hospitality and HVAC trade shows, industry meetings, presentations and educational seminars as required
  • Work with senior management to lead the creation of a National Strategy around the Hospitality market HVAC needs and CCG Solutions
  • Work with senior management to identify new products that can expand sales to existing customers within the channel.
  • Manage Account Plans for our major Hospitality Market customers
  • Quarterly Market data reviews with Manufacturers Representatives.
  • Work with regional management to consult and review Local Representatives Hospitality sales opportunities
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of the companies' products, system applications, selection and ordering programs, promotional tools and coach field sales representatives in their use.
  • Develop and maintain a Representative Assessment including information regarding customers and competitors, SWOT analysis and action plans.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
Experience:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a National Hospitality Sales role; preferably in the HVAC industry
Computer Skills:
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Highly capable in the use of spreadsheets, business reports and construction data search applications
Certificates & Licenses:
  • N/A
