**PURPOSE:**
The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and supporting the inside sales team along with maintaining profitable relationships with customers on behalf of the company. The Inside Sales Manager will manage and build a high performing team to support both internal and external customers. This role represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers and communicate the voice of the customer back to the organization.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:**

Manage and oversee the work of inside sales team representatives along with administrative sales staff.
*

Coach, train, evaluate and monitor inside sales representatives' performance.
*

Coordinate sales projects to meet specified deadlines.
*

Proactively prioritize and communicate customer needs to site planning and site leadership based on strategic assessment of customer demand requirements.
*

Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement.
*

Support Account Managers in developing and maintaining strategic customer account roadmaps/plans to include current contacts and influencers.
*

Proactively manage and develop key performance metrics and provides weekly updates to team.
*

Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
*

Coordinate/communicate plans and activities with directors/managers, as appropriate, to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach.
*

Perform related work as apparent or assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
* EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelors degree or equivalent in business administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 3-5 years of progressive experience in a related industrial sales or customer support capacity, some of which must be in precision production machining and engineering.
* REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Demonstrated ability to plan and implement results-oriented sales activities. Experience in sales or customer service in a manufacturing environment.
* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of customers, prospects, company personnel, independent representatives, and others at all levels.
* Strong customer service skills, Excel and MRP experience a must.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Self-starter and a problem solver.
* Excellent organization and time management skills.
