Technical Sales Manager

Our client is a local, privately held manufacturer of plastics assembly capital equipment. They are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to join their team. This person will be tasked with hunting new business, and working with existing clients within the Western US territory
Their product lines cover the a multitude of applications around plastic assembly and testing systems. Industries that they are focused on are injection molding, medical device & aerospace.
They are looking for candidates that have a technical sales background(technical degree preferred) of selling automation products into OEM's. Regional flight travel will be required(about 1 week per month). This will be a hunting role focused heavily on new business development with higher commission percentage paid on new clients.
All candidates with technical sales backgrounds within manufacturing are encouraged to apply.
