Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with demonstrable ability to join our diverse team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Snowflake Python Linux Scripting (Python/Bash/CAPL) and SQL Scripting. This role involves developing implementing and optimizing data solutions to drive our company’s critical initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Lead the design and development of data solutions using Snowflake to support business requirements.

· Be responsible for the implementation of Python scripts to automate data processing tasks and improve efficiency.

· Guide in Linux to run and maintain server environments for efficient performance.

· Develop and maintain scripts using Python Bash or CAPL to streamline workflows and enhance system functionality.

· Apply SQL Scripting to create modify and optimize database queries for data retrieval and manipulation.

· Collaborate with multi-functional teams to capture requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.

· Ensure data integrity and security by implementing standard processes and monitoring systems regularly.

· Fix and resolve technical issues related to data processing and system performance.

· Conduct code reviews to ensure alignment to coding standards and best practices.

· Mentor junior developers by providing guidance and support in their professional growth.

· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our data solutions.

· Contribute to the development of documentation and training materials for end-users and team members.

· Participate in project planning and management activities to ensure timely delivery of solutions.

Qualifications

· Possess strong expertise in Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics.

· Demonstrate proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.

· Have extensive experience with Linux for server management and maintenance.

· Show capability in developing scripts using Python Bash or CAPL for various applications.

· Exhibit advanced skills in SQL Scripting for database management and optimization.

· Display excellent problem-solving abilities to fix and resolve technical issues.

· Have a proven track record of collaborating with multi-functional teams to deliver successful projects.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 108,000 USD – $ 123,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
