The Director of Third Party and To-Go Strategy will be a pivotal leader within our organization, responsible for driving the profitability and growth of our to-go channels. This role encompasses strategic oversight of third-party aggregator relationships, individual to-go initiatives, and collaboration with internal teams to align menu offerings and marketing strategies. The successful candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the restaurant industry, and a passion for innovation.
Responsibility:
P&L Management: Assume full accountability for the profitability and financial performance of the to-go channel, ensuring revenue targets are met and expenses are effectively managed.
Aggregator Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with key third-party aggregators such as DoorDash, Uber Eats, and others. Lead negotiations to optimize terms and drive mutual growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with menu and marketing teams to develop and execute strategic plans that align with company objectives and customer preferences.
Operational Excellence: Work closely with the operations team to establish efficient processes and workflows for executing to-go orders across various channels.
KPI Development and Analytics: Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of initiatives. Leverage data analytics to drive informed decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
Innovation and Testing: Drive innovation by spearheading the testing of new products and services within the to-go channel. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain our competitive edge.
Qualifications:
Experience and Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field. MBA preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in the restaurant industry, with a focus on to-go strategies, third-party partnerships, and/or operations management.
Proven track record of successfully managing P&L and driving profitable growth within a multi-unit restaurant environment.
Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with external partners.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and performance measurement.
Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for innovation and driving continuous improvement.
