Overview:
As the Talent Acquisition and Development Leader for our industrial, multi-national corporation, you will lead a team responsible for attracting, recruiting, onboarding, and developing top talent across multiple manufacturing sites, engineering centers, and a remote sales force. You will develop and execute strategies to ensure the organization has the skilled workforce needed to achieve its business objectives while fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to attract and recruit both hourly and salaried employees across all business units and locations, leveraging market insights, best practices, and innovative sourcing techniques.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters and talent acquisition specialists responsible for full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection, ensuring a positive candidate experience and timely hiring decisions.

Partner with HR leaders, business stakeholders, and hiring managers to understand talent needs, workforce planning priorities, and skill requirements, ensuring alignment of recruitment efforts with business objectives.

Oversee the design and implementation of onboarding programs and processes for new hires, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to succeed in their roles and integrate seamlessly into the organization.

Develop and implement training and development programs to support the ongoing growth and advancement of employees at all levels, including technical skills training, leadership development, and career pathing initiatives.

Collaborate with HR leaders and business stakeholders to identify training needs and prioritize development initiatives based on organizational goals, talent assessments, and performance evaluations.

Drive initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in talent acquisition, onboarding, and development programs, ensuring equal access to opportunities and fostering a culture of belonging and respect.

Analyze talent acquisition and development metrics and data to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize outcomes.

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the talent acquisition and development process, working closely with legal, compliance, and HR teams to mitigate risks and uphold ethical standards.

Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the talent acquisition and development team, encouraging innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) preferred.

8+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, training and development, or a related HR field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing recruitment and development efforts in a multi-site, multi-national environment.

Strong understanding of talent acquisition and development principles, practices, and technologies, with experience in full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and training program design and implementation.

Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters, talent acquisition specialists, and training professionals, driving performance and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Experience recruiting for both hourly and salaried positions in the industrial sector or a similar manufacturing environment preferred, with knowledge of specialized skills and qualifications required for technical roles.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and candidates.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful talent acquisition and development strategies that support business objectives and ensure a strong pipeline of qualified candidates and skilled employees.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze recruitment and development metrics and data, identify trends and insights, and make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.

Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), learning management systems (LMS), and other HR technologies and tools.

Flexibility to travel as needed to support recruitment, onboarding, and development activities at various locations within the corporation's global footprint.
